The Portrait of a Wren

It's a new school year in Wrens!

One of our first jobs was to create a self portrait...Paul Klee style!

Here is what the original looks like:

We used a special technique to create our own versions.

We cut out different shapes using crepe paper and then used them to paint colour onto our portraits by brushing them with water:

Toy Pop Art

We have been looking at some art work created by Andy Warhol. This inspired us to create something similar, using an iPad app called 'Color Effects'.
