A gift from Thailand

Sophie's nanny went to Thailand recently and knew that we had been learning about Thailand just before Easter.

Whilst she was there she bought us some pencils. Here is Sophie telling us about who they are from and where they came from:

Sophie got to give everyone their pencil.

These are the ones that the Wrens got to take home:

These are special colouring pencils for us to use in school.

What a very special gift. Thank you to Sophie's nanny for thinking of us on her holiday!!!

Footprints in the sand

The Wrens have been experimenting with how to create dinosaur footprints!

First they created an impression in some sand.

What kind of dinosaurs had footprints like these?!

Then Plaster of Paris was poured in. This was a job for a grown up!

The footprints took quite a long time to dry. We think this was because the sand had to be wet.

Now came the really exciting bit - the reveal! We had to carefully brush the sand away.

Watch out for some photos of our finished footprints coming soon!
