A great day was had by all when we visited Old Buckenham High School to take part in the Multi skills sports day.
Find out what the Wrens have been learning in school. Don't forget to post a comment!

A letter in the post!
A very exciting event happened this week in Wrens! Look what came in the post:
What a lovely letter!
Nick also sent us some tips to help us write really interesting stories (just like he does!) and we are going to try out his ideas very soon - you never know some of us may grow up to become authors one day!
What story ideas do you have?
Why not write some stories of your own? Share your ideas with the grown ups at home - they might have some good ones too!

Collaborative Coding
Today the Wrens were the first in the school to explore some new coding programmes on the iPads. We were joined by the Year 4 Skylarks who helped us work through each challenge.
Each challenge required us to put in a sequence of instructions (a 'code').
Some of us shared our learning with everyone using the Apple TV.

Everyone collaborated really well today.
Thank you to the Year 4 Skylarks who helped us (as well as having lots of fun themselves!).

Busy with the Bee-Bots
On the Friday before half term, the Wrens explored how to programme the Bee-Bots.
On the iPads:
We all planned a journey that the Bee-Bot could take...as long as we gave it the right instructions!
Would our instructions work? There was only one way to find out - by putting them to the test!
Can you see how we recorded the instructions, like at the top left of Louis' sheet?
We also planned bigger routes outside on the playground...
...these were for the 'human Bee-Bots' who had to follow the instructions we gave them!
At the end at last - hurrah!
Can you remember how to programme the Bee-Bot? What words did you use?
