How to create a class of Twits!

The Wrens have begun sharing Roald Dahl's The Twits story.

In order to become Mr Twit, they took photos of themselves using the iPads...

...then added some extra hair in lots of places!

Some of us really got into character!

Take a look at the transformations!

Our work is on display in our classroom. Come and take a look!

We went to the zoo, zoo, zoo!

Today the Wrens went to Banham zoo for the day, here we are getting ready to go...

After our long walk, we all stopped for a quick snack and a drink.

Then it was time to see the animals!

Some of us used the zoo maps to find out where we were:

Can you spot the monkey(s)!

Chloe gave us a talk in the education centre

This ostrich egg is a lot bigger than the chicken eggs we had in our classroom!

It is also bigger than this emu egg!

Millie the millipede:

Shelley the snail...

...and her much bigger dad, Gary!

Savvy the snake:

Theodore the guinea pig:

Definitely time for lunch, everyone was really hungry after being out in the fresh air!

The baby goats were born at the zoo just last week:

The goats wanted to follow us, Baylie's mum did a great job of herding them back into their pen!

Don't forget to watch out for the...

...crocodile!

All aboard the zoo train:

We had such a fantastic day today, thank you to Banham Zoo and everyone who helped us!
