The Great Fire of Banham

On Monday Mrs Taylor and the Wrens reenacted The Great Fire of London!

Look at what we did to our 1666 model houses:

Our houses burned to down the ground just like those in Pudding Lane, London in 1666.

In the words of the Wrens: "What a fabulous, amazing and horrifying way to end to finish off the topic!!!"

Fire Engine models

Since we came back from our visit to East Harling fire station, the Wrens have been busy exploring how to create their own moving models of fire engines.

Take a look at us in creative mode!

What a fabulous time we have had so far! Our fire engines are not quite finished yet. We have some more details to add and our wheels need modifying so that they are more secure.

Watch out for photos of our finished work featuring soon on the blog!
